Why? You want a ton of free bands playing along Main Street? With loads of cool murals? Have I got a festival for you! Not even to mention the Park show in the evening! LP, badbadnotgood, iskwe, Ashleigh Ball, Blonde Diamond, and LOADS more!

Who? Burnaby Roots & Blues Festival
Where? Deer Lake Park
When? Saturday August 10
Why? If you don’t want to wander the backstreets for Mural Fest, may the lawn at Deer Lake Park with the likes of Feist, Dan Mangan, Lord Huron is more up your…alley. See what I did there?

Why? Close Talker is taking their live show to a whole other level with a full immersion experience with headphone. This is a ambitious one, and worth checking out!

Why? Carmanah is heading over from the island to have a rockin’ good time at the Fox Cabaret. Bring your dancing shoes.
