After a few years of wild adventures from a CBC Toque Session sneak preview of their latest album to an award-winning film, and then keeing it quiet for the past few months... the boys of We Are The City constantly leave us wondering what they'll be up to next.

Well, they dropped a bomb on their fans this weekend with a surprise announcement over social media that there's a new record coming - that hasn't been recorded yet, but will be available tonight, worldwide. Let the how/what/where/why/when's begin... but rest assured that tonight you'll get the live stream if you so desire. Here's the message they left for fans on their website, Instagram, and Facebook on Saturday:

“HELLO
WE WILL ALLOW FANS ACCESS TO A 24/7 LIVE FEED RECORDING OF OUR NEW LP BEGINNING MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 12PM PST AT http://www.wearethecity.ca/
ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY, AROUND THE WORLD, AS SOON AS IT’S FINISHED”

2 weeks ago they did release a fun song with a fabulous video for "Keep On Dancing" which you should definitely check out. Other than that, there's nothing else we know about WATC and their crazy ideas until we tune in tonight!
