Why? Fresh off their JUNO win for Rock album of the year, I’m pretty bummed that I’ll be missing The Beaches when they return to Vancouver, for a pair of shows at the Commodore.

Who? Just For Laughs Vancouver Festival
Where? Various Venues
When? May 25 to 29th
Why? Because we all need to have a good laugh these days, and with a ton of shows and comedians to choose from, you’re bound to end up having a great time.

Why? And this is why Kirk will be missing the above show(s)… I’ll be in California for what I’ve jokingly been calling 2006: The Music Festival! Franz Ferdinand! Bloc Party! The Shins! Modest Mouse! Interpol! Wolf Parade! Peaches! and more! Holy cow!
