It's my last day/night at Trans Musicales 2016 and this evening is the band I've been waiting to photograph: Reykjavíkurdætur.

Reykjavíkurdætur (which means Daughters of Reykjavik) is a collective of 20 female rappers from Iceland, whose lyrics focus on gender, politics, violence and sex. They rap in Icelandic, but you can catch some english every now and then, specifically the f-bombs and some slang words.

I'm not sure how many of them are making the journey to Rennes, but I'm beyond excited to photograph them and see them perform, even if I don't understand most of what they're saying!
