Weekly Photo Roundup for the week* preceding April 6, 2016
*Last two weeks actually.
It's been a rough one over here for 3am Revelations, as we lost a friend to brain cancer last week that we knew from the music community and, like us, was a huge Canadian music fan.
Filling in the time with live shows helped ease some of the pain, and made me think of Neil even more, knowing there were bands he would have enjoyed.
The show from the previous week I hadn't shown you yet was Thao and The Get Down Stay Down, along with Car Seat Headrest at the Cobalt. It was a packed show (literally, hard to move around) and had a lot of energy. I'm glad I caught it.
Then there were two nights in a row at the Fox Cabaret last week, for MU's album release, with Gang Signs, and then a summertime themed party with Youngblood, Frankie, and one of Vancouver's newest bands, Leisure Club. Between the weather outside, and the music inside, you could have sworn it WAS summer here. Check out the photos above.
